Wednesday 14 May 2025Villa Zambonina will host a special event dedicated to the preservation of the Italian gardenwith a focus on the most innovative defence techniques applied to the historical green heritage.
In the splendid setting of our villa, in Vigasio (Verona), we will welcome guests and industry professionals for a day of discussion and insight, in collaboration with theUniversity of Padua and the Innovative Regional Network INNOSAP.

15.00 - Welcome
Opening the proceedings will be Marina Cicognaowner of MCicogna Sas and owner of Villa Zambonina, who will welcome guests by introducing the historical and cultural value of the villa's gardens. -
3.10 p.m. - Start of work
This will be followed by speeches from two distinguished speakers:-
Prof. Paolo Sambo, Professor of Horticulture and Floriculture at the DAFNAE Department of the University of Padua, who will illustrate the collaborations with the Innovative Regional Network INNOSAP.

Prof. Giampaolo Zanin, Associate Professor at the DAFNAE Department, who will present new strategies and technologies for the protection and conservation of historic gardens.

17.30 - Conclusions and guided tour
At the end of the speeches, a short guided tour of Villa Zamboninawhich has recently undergone major restoration and enhancement works. It will be an opportunity to admire the results of the interventions aimed at preserving the authenticity and beauty of this unique place.
